What’s on for families during lockdown

Our usual services & activities listed below are sadly not running.

At the moment we’re running a 10.00 Family Worship in church with live-stream (Zoom) every other Sunday. Please check our calendar for details of dates, how to book places in church or materials you will need if you are watching on Zoom.

The Parenting for Faith course, from the Bible Reading Fellowship, is for parents & carers who would love to support each other in making their home a place of faith building for their children. We’ll be beginning a new season, on Zoom, starting Tuesday 8th June,  8pm-9pm for 8 weeks. You can find more information and sign-up here. To find out more, please contact Diana Wood, peter.wood@ntlworld.com.

For security reasons, Zoom access is only available to registered members of our church family contacts list. If you worship regularly with us and would like to be added to that list, look under “My Church on the Heath” on our Church Family.

Our usual services & activities

All Together Worship

Our 10.45am Sunday Service is an informal family friendly service. All ages worship, serve and explore God’s word together, sharing bread and wine once a month. Bible based activites enable adults and children to engage with the word in a variety of styles. We begin with coffee and tea from 10am and the service itself is about an hour and a quarter.

Messy Church

Once each term on a Saturday from 3pm to 5:30pm, we clear out the chairs from the church and get out the craft and games and have an afternoon of family worship and fun, including a sit-down meal.  Watch the calendar for the next date.

Church Family Lunch

Once a month, usually on the 4th Sunday, we have a bring and share lunch together after our family service.  There are activities for our children and plenty of time to eat and chat together.

Pit Stop

On the 1st Saturday of the month, from 10am to 12noon, men are invited to bring their children and chill out together, with games and snacks.  If you’re a Dad, Grand-dad, Uncle, Foster Dad etc. don’t miss out on the Bacon Butties!

Parenting Courses

We occasionally hold parenting courses, or join with local courses.
