Each week we meet in person and online.

March - Easter 2025

New series : Life Attitudes - understanding the beatitudes

The beatitudes mark the beginning of Jesus’ teaching that has become known as the Sermon on Mount . The mount probably refers to a hillside above the sea of Galilee and Jesus is teaching his disciples gathered around him, but there is also a large crowd listening in. And he talks to them about the kingdom of Heaven – what it is to be part of God’s kingdom, and then he gives them these eight truths that sum up what it means to be blessed in the kingdom of God. These truths that lie at the heart of the kingdom of heaven - values and attitudes that are to shape the way we view the world and one another, and then act accordingly. In good times and bad, how do we view life and respond to it challenges?
